We completed our second Christmas production in 2023, and this time it was definitely a family favourite.  We were so fortunate to have gained the rights to Frozen Jr and were able to turn the hall at Smithdon High School into the winter wonderland of Arendelle.  We had students involved from all year groups in the school. As well as our amazing cast, some students helped backstage or front of house, and others worked on lighting, sound and set design amazing cast.

The students spend months practicing the songs and choreography to perform for two evening performances, as well as performances for our local primary schools.  For the first time the art department painted and designed an entire castle to take the audience into the world of Frozen.  Students truly showcased all that Smithdon High School has to offer through their stunning performances of not just the well-known songs of ‘Let It Go’ and ‘Do You Want to Build a Snowman’ but through lesser known songs from the Broadway and West End stage productions.
