Jake Dorman may well be a Year 11 student preparing for his GCSE exams at Smithdon High School now, but his ambition and commitment to improving experiences for young people in Norfolk suggest that his is a name worth remembering.

Smithdon High School has begun its Artsmark journey; over the next two years we will develop more opportunities for our students to work with artists, musicians and actors.
Rose Edmunds has recently been selected for funding to represent Great Britain at the Topper World Championships in China next year.
Students at Smithdon High School started the new academic year by celebrating achieving 100% attendance for the previous year.
Year 11 students at Smithdon High School secured the best GCSE headline results ever. Sitting the new styled English and Maths GCSEs, 65% of students achieved a Grade 4 or better which is an increase of 10% on the headline figure achieved in 2016.
Year 12 and 13 students received recognition from the Rotary Club for their services to the local community.
On Thursday 25th May the Year 10 Sutton Scholars graduated their research project.
